Welcome to my Crafter’s Cabin. It’s the place I go to create unique painted pieces for our family, friends and customers.

I’ve been experimenting with wool felting. It’s fun and
especially good when dealing with frustrations. =)
This
bear scene is mounted inside a shadow box frame
giving
a bit more dimension to the piece.

The pink and black moose pillow measures 12”x12”.
The pillow
is made from a pair of PJ bottoms. The ribbon
saying
across the pillow was the PJ waist tie.

Fluffy CHICKEN Things
14x14” chicken pillow features chicken fabric on one

We like to recycle products when we can. This was
an older, small
lazy susan which I refinished and
painted with pine cones. The lazy susan mechanism
is very smooth. 14” diameter.
We also created the MENU chalkboard (7.25”x12”)
and PINE CONE LODGE
Sign (7.5”x12”).
These pieces coordinate but are sold separately.

18” Handpainted “’GREAT OUTDOORS” Lazy Susan
This was a labor
of love…love of the Great Outdoors. “Great Outdoors” is an original design,
hand
painted on 18”
round wood
with
lazy susan
turntable. Media is acrylic paints with 2 coats of water-based finish.
The
style, simplistic…because when you’re enjoying nature, life
is
simple and fun.
There’s wildlife to see, camping
and cabin memories, majestic mountains,
sunshine and starry nights, trees reaching for the sky, fun on the
water
and
breathing in fresh air. There’s lots
of detail to discover in this piece.
